catherine zeta jonesMichael Douglas was recently seen in Disney World, confined to a scooter while his wife Catherine Zeta-Jones and her two children to explore the park and its attractions. The star 66-year-old has been on the mend after battling throat cancer for most of 2010.

"Although energy seemed Douglas for the cameras, posing in a series of set-up shots, behind the scenes of his recovery was taking its toll," reports RadarOnline.com.

A witness told Radar that Douglas "seemed frail and sick - I definitely thought I needed a wheelchair."

According to a close friend of Allen Burry, Douglas has been on a diet of force capacity after intensive chemotherapy and radiation treatments.

"Michael has to eat a lot now to regain weight and help you find your strength again," says Burry. "That's one of the hardest things when they have been through medication and treatment. You have to gain weight."

Douglas is rumored to have fallen from 175 pounds. to a mere 139 for his treatment.

"Michael still unable to return to work and can not do physical exercise, which has been ordered to take it easy and recover your energy level," says Burry radar.
